SYNTAX

result = sqrt(x)

DESCRIPTION

sqrt(x) computes the square root of X.

ARGUMENTS

X The type shall be REAL or COMPLEX.

RETURN VALUE

The return value is of type REAL or COMPLEX. The kind type parameter is the same as X.
